My Philosophy

We are not your average facility! Our therapists work 1:1 with you (no assistants here!). We believe that every BODY is unique and treat with that individuality in mind.  Our philosophy is simple - treat the whole body, not just the injury. An ankle injury is not always an ankle problem - the cause could've stemmed from a lack of hip joint motion which changed the mechanics of how you walk causing the ankle to take on more stress. Our therapists find the cause and treat the cause.

Our approach is to find long-term solutions to your aches, pains, injuries! The right approach to treatment today =  no issues tomorrow! We have a keen and unique eye for the function of our bodies and a true passion to help people recover from new/past injuries and overall wellness.

We all have a family doctor, dentist, optometrist, and pharmacist that follows us through our lives (unless we move or they retire/move). We all should have a Physiotherapist, Chiropractor, and Massage therapist as well!

My Story

We opened our doors on September 4, 2018, by our lead physiotherapist, Yamini Mistry! She wanted to create a unique environment, a one-stop-shop, for all healthcare and wellness needs, with trusted (and fun) practitioners. Her vision is to open a multi-disciplinary centre offering rehab services as well as medical, pharmacy, dental, optometry and diagnostics - a true one-stop-shop for patient-centred care. And a place where everybody knows your name (like the popular 1980's TV sitcom). With this clinic and working together with Meadowglen Pharmacy and Medical, is the start of that journey!

We could go on further with our story, but will spare you the novel! Just ask us when we see you at your next visit (or if you really want we can chat over the phone or email as well!)

Why "MyLife"?

Yamini is truly invested in her patients, thus wanted to create a name and a brand that encompassed just that. MY = Mistry, Yamini. Life - well it just sounds right! She wants to empower people in their lives and with their health! She wants people to think about their lives and how to make it better from all points of view (physical and emotional). She can't take all the credit for coming up with the name (her sisters came up with the MY)
