My Philosophy

We are not your average facility! Our therapists work 1:1 with you. We believe that every BODY is unique and treat with that individuality in mind.  Our philosophy is simple - treat the whole body, not just the injury. An ankle injury is not always an ankle problem - the cause could've stemmed from a lack of hip joint motion which changed the mechanics of how you walk causing the ankle to take on more stress. Our therapists find the cause and treat the cause.

Our approach is to find long-term solutions to your aches, pains, injuries! The right approach to treatment today =  no issues tomorrow! We have a keen and unique eye for the function of our bodies and a true passion to help people recover from new/past injuries and overall wellness.

We all have a family doctor, dentist, optometrist, and pharmacist that follows us through our lives (unless we move or they retire/move). We all should have a family Physiotherapist, Chiropractor, and Massage therapist as well!

My Story

As years go by I feel my old injuries creeping up and notice one simple truth - we are all struggling with aches and pains. What was once easy takes a little more effort, a little more time. If only I had known prior to becoming a Physiotherapist - prevention and maintenance are the keys to healthy bodies. Nobody should have to live in pain or stop doing what they love. My mission, my passion, my burning desire is to educate and elevate everyone I meet to understand that our bodies want to be whole, they want to be healthy. This doesn’t happen through drugs, or strategies to manage pain; it happens with the right consistent treatment for you. You are unique. There is no one size fits all approach that is going to get you back to your optimal health and happy lifestyle. This is why I’ve created a unique facility and lead a strong, compassionate, trustworthy team that shares this philosophy and approach to help you get back to the things you love!

Why "MyLife"?

Yamini is truly invested in her patients, thus wanted to create a name and a brand that encompassed just that. MY = Mistry, Yamini. Life - well it just sounds right! She wants to empower people in their lives and with their health! She wants people to think about their lives and how to make it better from all points of view (physical and emotional). She can't take all the credit for coming up with the name (her sisters came up with the MY)
