Healing
starts here.

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine to help improve circulation while relieving muscle pain, tension, and spasms.

It’s applied in tangent with other therapeutic techniques to help patients recover from their aches, pain, and injuries as soon as possible! Your therapist will determine the best approach based on your comfortability.

FAQs

We use plastic round cups and place them directly on the skin. The therapists uses suction to remove the air from the cup to pull the skin underneath. There are two methods (well technically 3!)

  1. Sustained Cupping – cups are left in place for 5-10 minutes then removed
  2. Gliding Cupping – cups are glided along the area using mild to moderate pressure as tolerated with use of lotion
  3. Combined sustained and gliding

Well it depends :). Sometimes 1 – 2/wk to once a month. It all depends on what the treatment program the therapist prescribes and also your progress in the program.  Your therapist will determine the appropriate frequency for your recovery.

Our therapists use the “dry” cupping method. If you are looking for wet or fire cupping, let us know we can put you in touch with a therapist that can help!
